What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Providing personable service and serving responsibly is top priority in bartending. I want your event to run smoothly and provide my 5 star service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BS in Social Welfare and have worked with the public as a case manager for over 30 years. I so know people and am a good judge of character. Serving the public comes naturally to me and I enjoy meeting new people. My formal education and working career has served me well for bartending.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I am a bartender and manage their photo booth at Lucy's garden, a barn wedding venue, in Ridgefield. I enjoy meeting new people as well as dressing them in fun costumes for the photo booth. I have worked at Lucy's Garden for several years and decided to offer my bartending services to other venues. I enjoy what I do and meeting new people.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate events to include fundraisers and wine tasting parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I can't come up with a specific event. Outdoor weddings are a favorite but, all weddings are special and I am honored to be apart of your magical day. I enjoy meeting people at corporate events, birthday parties so I have no special project.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for a friendly person and one that takes their job seriously. A bartender needs to serve drinks and monitor that guests are drinking responsibly. Card youth if the bartender questions their age and ask how a person is getting home, if you feel they may be drinking too much. I will cut them off if I feel they have had too much.
