He returned to Miami to study photographic technology at Miami-Dade College. He was trained to shoot all mediums of film as well as digital images. He is an expert working with all formats of film and digital photography, and has worked extensively with polaroid film. He has much experience working with all kinds of lighting systems, and continually shows his ingenuity in getting the shot under less than stellar lighting conditions. Rod Deal specializes in editorial portraits and photo journalism.
