James Vitullo is a professional freelance photographer who makes each client's experience revolve around a positive impact. I love candid portraits, and these give insight into personality as well as genuine emotion. Preparation and couple shoots are my favorite aspects of each and every wedding day. My diverse background allows me to adapt to any project. I studied photojournalism at Southern Illinois University and am based in Chicago. I have collaborated with a variety of publications, design firms, corporations, and advertising clients. In 2003, I was honored with the Peter Lisagor Award for Photojournalism Excellence. My clients have included BusinessWeek, Forbes, Follett of Higher Learning, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BlackWell (Consulting, First Health, Harley Davidson, and Apple. I began photography at the age of 10 when my parents sent me to Poland to visit family. My aunt gave me a camera, and I have been hooked ever since. (I am a License 107 Drone pilot.)
