For 14 years I have delivered high end client focused imagery on purely referral basis. By listening intently to needs, filtering those through broad experience, I'm able to guide clients to unique and effective visuals. Prior to focusing full time on photography, I spent 12 years in communications, marketing and executive visibility. This allows me to work fluidly from the board room to the recording studio, with global leaders to local entrepreneurs with ease. Fully equipped with industry leading Canon and Sony equipment, a full suite of Profoto lighting and modifiers, and the ability to work in studio or on location, I enjoy tackling a diverse set of client challenges, and always over service. I rely fully on client's word of mouth recommendations, and work accordingly. I look forward to working with you in the near future. Published in: Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Rolling Stone (online), Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Magazine, Boston Herald, Boston Phoenix and others. Professional Memberships: American Society of Media Photographers National Press Photographers Association (previous) Copyright Alliance

==================================== At eight years old, I had already lived in three countries, a reality that shaped my perspective and fueled my artistic drive. As a displaced war refuge in the 1990’s, I learned to embrace the unexpected early on in life. In order to find a place that felt familiar, I had to constantly create that place. Through all of the relocating, I developed an appreciation for different cultures, art, and travel. This curiosity presented itself through different artistic expressions throughout my life. My first attempt at art was through drawing, which eventually placed me in multiple art galleries. Those childhood times that I got lost in the rhythm of unique cultural instruments planted seeds of musical exploration in the form of DJing at a bar later on in life. Traveling frequently exposed me to an infinite amount of intricate buildings, my curiosity turned that into an architectural degree. Storytelling was always a part of me, but photography felt like the most natural way to express those narratives visually, to share them with the world in a way that transcended language and cultural barriers. Through my own experiences, I realize that what makes us different doesn’t divide us - it creates bridges between us. Art itself becomes one of these bridges, connecting our diverse stories in unexpected ways. My photography aims to tell these stories- between people, art, and our surroundings - a perspective born from my own journey across experiences and cultures. ————————————— Commercial partners: - Harvard University - Roessel Joy - La Legion Barbershop - Team Link

IMPORTANT INFO BEFORE INQUIRING: Jasmine Nelson . photography I only DO: portraits (headshots/personal/ glamour, family, maternity, newborn, senior or graduation). If this is what you’re looking for, I’d be happy to help. I DO NOT do: weddings, engagements, parties or “themes”. Thumbtack has a lot of amazing photographers who do, so it would be best to reach out to them if that is what you are looking for :). ABOUT: When it comes to your photoshoot, I come to you—because I believe the best photos happen in places where you feel most at ease. Whether it’s your home, a favorite park, or any space that feels like you, comfort and familiarity make all the difference. I genuinely love working with people and making photo sessions feel fun and relaxed. Photography doesn’t have to be stressful or awkward. I’ll chat, laugh, and connect with you throughout the shoot—so it feels more like hanging out than posing. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there, allowing your real personality to shine through every shot.
