Hi hello! My name is Ma'Rico and I really enjoy creating memories for others with my work! Photography first was a hobby for me and now is something I have the opportunity to share with others. I come from a photojournalistic background and look to be a fly on the wall to create the genuine candid moment. I specialize in portrait and sports photography but also have a wide range of skills to photograph weddings, corporate events and more.

My Story After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Herron Institute of Art, my career path started in a different direction, which actually helped me be a better photographer. I started my career as an art director with ad agencies working on national accounts (Capital One, Domino’s Pizza, etc.) and Fortune 500 corporations on the client side. I’ve art directed many photo shoots with nationally-recognized photographers, from NYC to LA, concepting the idea, presenting to the client, then supervising the photographer to capture the image consisting of products, food, fashion and editorial imagery, both still and video, allowing me to learn from the best. What I've learned from being an art director, is how to tell a visual story with imagery that is sensitive to the clients' needs. And I think that working collaboratively often yields the best results. I’ve taken that experience and put it behind the lens. What’s your story?
