I have worked in the trades for over 30 years and I’m a skilled carpenter, mason and painter. I am careful, detail oriented, considerate and neat. I have a crew of professional tradespeople and I expect excellence from all of them. I cut my teeth working for a historic restoration contractor in New England and I am skilled at matching the existing colors, applications and aesthetic of almost any structure. Custom furniture is my passion , and if you take a personal pleasure in beautiful objects and enjoy the process of seeing a design come to fruition, then we will get along. I’ve been designing and building my own furniture and selling locally as well as taking on commissions for custom pieces in the Bay for 5 years. Most recently I’ve been experimenting with wood turning and centering my designs around that method. My website shows my current designs, prices on those objects are close to fixed, material will vary that price. Custom builds require a design fee which covers , drawings and edits (however if major edits get beyond two, an additional fee will be required), material and finish samples and a final estimate.
