There are two main things that I always focus on, quality and costumer satisfaction.

Although I'm new to Thumbtack, I'm certainly not new to the worlds of carpentry, fabrication and design. With 25+ years of experience in film, carpentry and experiential design/fabrication, there isn't much i haven't seen. I've recently left a lead carpenter's position at an elite bi-coastal experiential design company, which required a tremendous amount of time and dedication. It was quite an amazing experience, yet not a fully rewarding one. In that world, the creations are often temporary in nature, but the precision and craftsmanship that goes into each project is never compromised. Having a background in interdisciplinary fine art work, my current need to meaningfully create now outweighs my desire to completely immerse myself in the temporary world of experience-driven marketing. Though admittedly, i still take on fun projects from that world, just at a lesser rate. Thumbtack allows me the freedom to cultivate my interdisciplinary art aspirations by providing the necessary time to nurture what is truly significant for me. This also provides my clients with a resource that brings high quality execution of hyper-detailed projects, along with the personal care, necessary focus and time, and the most expedient approach to helping them realize their project vision - all at a fraction of the cost of larger, high-volume, companies.
