What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process for working with a new customer is to have a walkthrough and conversation at the worksite. I like to thoroughly discuss and envision the client's needs and preferences to ensure that I can produce exactly what the customer desires.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have on the job training from past construction and remodel companies, as well as woodworking course work online.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I outfitted a 2008 Dodge Sprinter van, custom wood cabinets, full kitchenette, Espar diesel heater, insulation, 300 watts of solar, wood floors, and pull-out table with fold down dining chairs; from then on, I found a passion for woodworking and enjoyed the ability to help clients and exercise my creativity.

Primarily residential homeowners

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I make custom farmhouse kitchen tables; my passion is custom wood working and I continue to produce faster and more efficiently with each project that I complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone that you have a connection with and that won't rush the job. Someone that is going to take the necessary time to get the job done right at an affordable rate.

Customers should consider when the job needs to be started and completed, what their budget is, what quality of products/materials would they like to use, and what type of relationship you'd like with your professional?
