My husband is an ears nose and throat surgeon. We have lived on Potrero hill for 15 plus years. My son is third year at Juilliard, He’s a violinist! My daughter just started high school at UHS. We enjoy snowboarding and skiing, travel, nice restaurants, tennis, Squash, reading and music!

I am a longtime SF resident (over 25 years) and life-long animal lover (especially dogs). I am semi-retired and truly enjoy taking care of other people’s pets and showing them the kindness and attention they are in extra need of when away from their owners. I have my own 7-year old Australian terrier who is well-trained and exceptionally friendly. I have always loved walking and take my Gracie on long walks and to local area parks everyday (including Dolores Park, which is directly across the street from my home; as well nearby Duboce, Alamo Square Park and others). I’d be delighted to have your small to medium-sized dog join us as one off occasion or on a regular basis. In addition, I also board dogs for overnights and longer stays. While advance notice of a week to several days is preferred, I know unexpected situations can arise and do my best to be available on short notice. I have a car now so I can do pickups and drop offs. I’m more than happy to provide references upon request. I’m currently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby, be it doggy day-care or dog boarding. I enjoy taking dogs out for long walks. I provide all dogs with a safe environment. My backyard is fenced in and I can also allow dogs to eat in different areas if necessary. Dogs will be walked every 2 hours. What David would like to know about your pet I need to know how the dogs get along with other dogs, are they shy defensive etc. I need to know how do they walk on a leash, what do they do when they see other dogs leash aggression submissive etc. Feeding times the routines the dogs are accustomed to, are they early risers, do they like to eat before they are walked or walked first. What kinds of playtimes how long and most importantly what routines they like to follow. My nature is one of friendliness, flexibility, honesty, reliability, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, and to meet or exceed clients’ expectations. I've been responsible for a variety of dogs (and cats), including rescues, pure breeds, varying sizes and dispositions, those with health issues such as strokes, heart disease, cancer, Cushings' disease, those in braces, and blind and deaf dogs. I'm experienced with administering medications, and have much respect and love for each animal, as the individuals they are. I never overbook, and once hired, commit to a job, taking full responsibility to meet the owners' needs and expectations. Pets are family members, no less, and I have much affection to share.
