We are a locally owned company that specializes in not only remediating the mold, but fixing the cause so that it will not return. We are known for our promptness, professionalism, friendliness, and customer service. We give free estimates, are licensed, and guarantee our work! We have worked with numerous families that are frustrated due to their situation that has to do with mold. They don't know where to turn, have read horror stories about how expensive it is, don't know which method to use, etc. That's where we come in! We explain what needs to be done, how it will be done, answer questions, alleviate their fears, and return their home so that it is healthy. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All of our pricing is determined by actually evaluating the work that needs to be performed. There are many variables to consider when providing a scope of work. We provide free estimates!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The client calls our office to set up an appointment with one of our highly-trained field supervisors. The field supervisor evaluates the area in question and provides a scope of work that will eliminate the mold. A written proposal is provided that includes the scope of work with the option to accept the work. Upon completion of the work, a receipt and warranty certificate is provided.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are licensed by the state of Indiana in Mold Control (Category 13) through the Office of the State Chemist. We also have certifications for mold control. We follow The Clean Trust (formerly IICRC) guidelines for mold remediation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Our background allowed us to view a lot of projects that had been completed by other companies. We were dismayed to learn that there were quite a few companies that were not doing what they were supposed to do. We felt that there was a need for a company that not only performed the work correctly, but performed it for a fair price.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with customers that have multi-million dollar homes and customers that are struggling to pay their bills. We understand that in a lot of cases customers didn't know they had an issue so they are not expecting the added expense, so we try to work with people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One project that comes to mind is a home that had been condemned by the Board of Health. The home was going to be torn down, but an investor wanted to try to save it. We gutted the home, remediated the mold, and it is now one of the nicer homes in the neighborhood. From start to finish, including the air quality testing, it took three weeks. Most projects take one day to a week to complete, depending upon what needs to be done.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the company is licensed, guarantees their work, and explains what products will be used. Some companies use bleach-type products, which DO NOT work and can exacerbate the problem.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1. Are you licensed? 2. What type of products do you use and what is your method? 3. Do you fix the problem that caused the mold before you remediate? 4. What is the timeline for completion? 5. Do you include a warranty? 6. How long have you been in business?
