What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Every customer and home have their own needs and wants. We aren't a big brand that has set prices. We'll work with you to find the right solution at the right price, whatever the need might be.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We strive to be in constant communication with our customers and will text and/or call as needed. Generally speaking, our initial contact is made by phone and text. From the initial contact to ongoing contact, a lot of our communication is based upon the needs of the customer. If you'd like us to be in constant communication, we'll do that. If you only want a message here and there, we can do that too. Whatever you need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We're not your typical Pest Control company. I have my Undergraduate Degree from Indiana Univ - Bloomington and my Master's Degree from Indiana Wesleyan Univ - Ft Wayne. In addition to those degrees, I have been in-and-around the Pest Control industry for years and finally decided to branch out and do my own thing and that's where DeadOne Pest Control was formed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Had a good friend in the industry for a long time and recommended I take a look at it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Lots of Friends & Family and then people that they have be referring to us. It's a pretty great feeling knowing you're helping people with their issues and they like the level of service they're getting from us.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We have a customer who sits on 6 acres of land. They have a 10+ acre pond and a 100+ acre nature preserve next to them. These are prefect breading grounds for pests, especially mosquitos, spiders, ants, ticks and other creepy crawlers. (He was referred to us from another existing customer) We're doing an ongoing Mosquito Treatment and he and his family are now enjoying their outdoor living space. It's a lot more affordable than you might think and why bother having a great backyard and home if bugs are everywhere making you miserable.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

This isn't rocket science, we're eliminating pests (bugs, insects, rodents). Find someone that will be upfront and honest with you about the situation you're having and make sure they have a plan.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Can you continue living with the problem? A huge issue with pests is that they multiply very quickly. For instance a flea only lives for 2-3 months, but in those few months, they can lay up to 500 eggs. So 1 flea can produce 500 baby fleas. A pest problem won't just go away, it will generally only get exponentially worse. Take care of that issue now, before it gets bad. At DeadOne Pest Control, we offer 3 Levels of Safe Zone Protection. Zone One is an interior barrier treatment that starts your safe zone on the inside of your home. Zone Two is an interior and exterior where we protect on the inside, but extend that safe zone to the outside of your home and Zone Three is an interior, exterior and a full yard safe zone. This extends that safe zone to the edges of your yard, eliminating the chances of pests (spiders, wasps/hornets/bees, ants, etc) from getting anywhere near your home or family.
