Introduction

My name is Valentin I am a floor installer contractor since 1997 . I specialize in installing LVP , laminate and hardwood floors . I immigrated from Romania in 1995 started my family here and I have 4 children. I started working in the floor industry ever since I came here . I worked for over 10 years in the union where I did a lot of floors for schools new buildings , after that I opened my own business and worked with a lot of different companies as well . I have done a lot of residential and commercial jobs through the years . I just joined thumbtack in August 2024 . I like to deliver the best quality in floor installation and therefore I will always tell you the right thing to do . I treat every job like is my own house , I pay attention to every detail and I make sure every customer is 100% satisfied with my work when I leave the job .

Prices can be based on types of rooms if there are appliances, furniture, the distance of the job the types of floors that need to be removed

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I try to give a quote if they send me pictures with the project schedule the appointment for installation and finish most jobs in one or 2 days depending on size of the job

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am licensed for checking lead, asbestos , I have worked for over 10 years in the union and was a Stewart

How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I came in this country in 1996 I started working in floors and loved ever since this trade , never did anything else .

I have worked with thousands of customers throughout my career residential and commercial

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had a job near Milwaukee a commercial job went there and they had some additional work to do . Customer understood the importance of getting that leveling done and he was extremely pleased with the outcome

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the installer knows well the trade, don’t hire the cheapest contractor as they could provide the installation that reflects the price

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customer should be very specific with the project as many pictures as possible, ask about what types of floor does the project recommend ask how long it will take to complete the project
