Although I loved my job as a firefighter, I found my true passion was working outdoors, getting my hands dirty in the garden. I was raised doing yard work every Saturday alongside my dad and brothers. Being out in the sunshine with the smell of freshly cut grass is both nostalgic as it reminds me of my childhood but it also gives me a great sense of pride in a job well done making a yard look better than it did before.
