THE ASK Frustrating experiences with two previous agencies led to distrust of outside help. Expensive, critically flawed campaigns from these agencies drove heavy online traffic, but only 2 sales. You read that right, 2 sales and that’s it. Meandering video content failed to capture viewer attention and did not communicate the value of the product. Worse, none of the developed content aligned with the brand’s target audience leading to a predictable result. THE STRATEGY After analysis of the situation, Power Couch Media developed a streamlined ad set that grabbed attention, eliminated all confusion, and harmonized perfectly with the brand’s core message. Prior campaigns relied on rigid assumptions ignoring large groups of potential buyers. Without accurate data, the ad platforms couldn’t possibly optimize targeting effectively. We broadened the parameters which allowed the magic of machine learning to identify valuable new customers. THE RESULT Fundamental transformation and new trust. Within 90 days, we turned an expensive, misguided strategy into a consistent powerhouse delivering more than 4X return on ad spend (ROAS). 1. Avoid agencies that charge large upfront fees or lock you into long-term contracts. A knowledgeable agency will be confident in your success and won’t need these guarantees. 2. Be cautious of agencies that claim to be local but are actually a front for overseas freelancers. 3. Cheap work almost always costs more in the long run. Invest in quality from the start. 4. If an agency promises likes, follows, and impressions—run. In most cases, the only metrics that matter are sales and leads. 5. Your brand is your first impression. Customers WILL associate low-quality design, video, or photos with low quality products and unreliable services. 6. Don’t choose an agency that doesn’t allow you to own your accounts or creative assets.
