My name is Valentin I am a floor installer contractor since 1997 . I specialize in installing LVP , laminate and hardwood floors . I immigrated from Romania in 1995 started my family here and I have 4 children. I started working in the floor industry ever since I came here . I worked for over 10 years in the union where I did a lot of floors for schools new buildings , after that I opened my own business and worked with a lot of different companies as well . I have done a lot of residential and commercial jobs through the years . I just joined thumbtack in August 2024 . I like to deliver the best quality in floor installation and therefore I will always tell you the right thing to do . I treat every job like is my own house , I pay attention to every detail and I make sure every customer is 100% satisfied with my work when I leave the job .

I am a hands on owner, all work is done by me ,I don't subcontract any of the work I do. I still enjoy what I do, I like working for myself. No job is the same, it's nice working in different places and for different people. Working as a contractor allows me to have a different boss every job and that is very rare.
