RAM Earthworks offers free estimates, no matter the size of the project. We also offer discounts to those actively serving our country and veterans.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To start off, we like to get to know our customers and their project through either a conversation via call, text or email. We collect information about the customer's project, expectations and budget. If it sounds like a good fit, we coordinate a day/time to come out and take a look at the job-site and fine tune the details of the job. You should then receive a free estimate tailored to your specific project!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

20 years of construction in the residential and heavy civil commercial sector. Certifications include: Confined Space, OSHA 10, Confident Person Certificate, Asbestos and Lead Training, Safety Manager, Job Site Supervisor, and Foreman. 50,000 hours on all types construction equipment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always had a fascination for the land and what we are able to do with it. I attended Fort Simcoe Job Corps, Pre-Apprenticeship- International Union of Operating Engineers after high school where I earned my Operator's Certificate. I have worked for several different construction companies over the last couple of decades and gained priceless experience in a wide variety of skill sets. Starting my own company was always part of the dream and to help people create theirs. Your project is our passion.

Residential homeowners, farmers, winery owners, churches, commercial businesses, water/utility companies, hazelnut growers, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently preformed a job in McMinnville Oregon. Gas tank farm parking lot re grading, drainage and grading, dirt hauling. 150 tons of 3/4 minus place and compacted. Dirt haul off site (65 yards), drainage swells and dirt grading.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend that you do some research and get multiple bids. Know what the prices of materials in your area are. Check with the CCB and make sure you find a contractor that is licensed, insured and bonded so that you are protected.
