I am a veteran of the military, spending six years in the Coast Guard and also a 12 year veteran of the Boston Fire department. Although I loved my job as a firefighter, I found my true passion was working outdoors, getting my hands dirty in the garden. I also have a bachelors degree in environmental science with a focus on resource conservation.
