Adopted from Korea, her experience with feeling like the ‘odd one out’ has taught her to always be in search of the people, places, and things that often go unnoticed. Her compositions often focus on the details—the subtle interactions between people, the textures of environments, and the play of light and shadow—all contributing to a story within each image.
