Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All my portrait sessions start at $200. I love to work with my clients and create packages that fit their budgets.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I love to get to know the client: what they do, where they're from... everyone has a story unique to them and it's so fascinating to find out! Finding out what clients want out of a photoshoot is key for me. I pick their brain and after each consultation, I put together a shoot that will deliver the BEST results. During shoots, I never cease to give direction. I understand shoots can be uncomfortable, so you can trust me as your guide to captivating, rich photos!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I started photographing friends and family with a digital camera back when I was a teenager (I'm talking early 2000's point-and-shoot cameras). That eventually developed into a joy for photography. When my dad bought my first DSLR camera, I picked it up from there and taught myself over the years, collaborated with friends on photoshoots, and learned from other portrait, wedding, and landscape photographers. There's always something to be learned, and my mind is constantly absorbing new ideas about creating captivating photography.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My first professional shoot was with this lady who was a regular customer at an ice cream shop I used to work at (She loved getting a coffee drink. I still know how she likes it prepared!) She needed senior graduation photos and I eagerly took on the job. From then on, I felt encouraged to keep pursing photography! I've done senior portraits, headshots, and collaborations with models and other photographers. It's certainly an adventure!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with children, young adults, parents, professionals, and couples!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I photographed a Christmas Event for a local real estate agency. All the money raised when towards local community projects and schools. I loves this shoots so much because the community was brought together under a tiny real estate boutique to enjoy Christmas cheer. I got to capture some fond moments of families laughing and even babies crying with Santa. It was a moving event shoot for sure!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
