What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step will be to set a call. After the call we send photography form to a client, also deposit is needed. The next step will be the photo/video shoot.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Taras Yasniy has Multimedia Journalist Diploma from Clackamas Community College. Also, Yasniy Media was awarded many time by Weddison Award, The Knot and WeddingWire.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Taras started as a photoshop editor in photo studio. Alla, his wife began as a second shooter for Taras in the very beginning. Currently they have their own clients, but also work together on bigger projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We are working with all kind of clientele from various cultural backgrounds and vast differential of photo/video needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of most memorable projects we have recently accomplished, is our photoshoots around Europe. It consisted of two weddings, one in Santorini, Greece and another in Lviv, Ukraine, as well as two engagement sessions in Italy and third in Germany and Switzerland.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would look at the photographer's Instagram to see how often they post and catch the style they work in. Another important point is how the vendor communicates, fast replies, answers all questions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The customer needs to decide on: determine their budget, how many hours of work they need, approximate type of photo/video look(incl. location)
