Introduction

Hello there! Thank you for viewing my page. I am mostly an outdoor photographer, but I do some specialty sessions in my home studio. I love meeting new people! Couples, graduates and children are my favorites to work with. I know of some beautiful locations outdoors for shoots. I offer vintage style shoots of babies, children and adults. I have some great clothing in my client closet for kiddos and some for adults too. :) I have been shooting photos for 30 years and decided to start shooting professionally about 9 years ago. My shoots turn out very fun and my people end up having a great time and making some sweet memories! I work with newborns, children, teens, families, pets and their owners, modeling shoots, families, engagement, maternity and weddings. I feel that it is very important to listen to what your clients vision is for their shoots. Children are my specialty, but Couples are so fun to photograph and I enjoy making the shoot for special for them, a beautiful memory filled with fun and laughter. i do not provide physical proofs. However, i can provide prints or canvases for additional costs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I generally have a few specials going on through the year, especially at Christmas time when I offer mini shoots. My typical photography session is a half hour for $125 with 10 finished/edited photos or an hour shoot for $200 with 20 or more finished/edited photos.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I want to make sure that my customers are happy with the outcome of their photos. I need to know what type of shoot they are searching for, how many will be in the photos and what type of scene they would like to be in. My specialty is working outdoors with natural lighting. I have many places in our area where there are beautiful surroundings or I am always open to any new places the customers may know about also!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been shooting for 30 years unprofessionally and about 6 now professionally. I have taken many classes and worked with a few other photographers in our area on new techniques.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always had a love for photographing everything! For many years I raised German Shepherds and one of my favorite things was taking photos of them that I put up on my website. Working with animals is a lot of fun, so I welcome having families bring their special pets along to be photographed.
