So if you don’t book with me I lose $20. And sometimes I have 4-5 leads and they end up going with someone else so that’s an easy $100 loss. Cancellation and Refund Policy
A non-refundable retainer fee for 50% of total due for all services is required to secure your date, which is deducted from the final balance
-In the event, the event/wedding is cancelled within 14 days of your scheduled event, you will be held responsible for 100% of the cost of the booked service(s).
-Services can not be altered within 90days of event and you will be responsible for paying full amount.
-You are responsible for payment of any person in the wedding party/special event cancelling within 90 days from the event.
-You are responsible for the full payment amount due based on the total number of people scheduled for services. (For example: if you confirm 5 people are scheduled for service and only 3 show up, you are contractually obligated to pay for the confirmed party members/services even if they are not in attendance/receiving.
Service Provider Cancellation: If Mercedes Cortes cancels the appointment, the full deposit amount (****) will be refunded to the client.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- Late Arrival Policy: If the client is more than 15 minutes late, an additional fee of $20 may be applied.
Satisfaction Guarantee: If the client is not satisfied with the service, adjustments can be made on the same day free of charge.
-Tips and upgrades: Gratuity is not included in total and it is greatly appreciated. A gratuity scale for the beauty industry 15-20%
Additional Fees
-If the day of the event you decide to upgrade you understand that the balance remaining should be paid in full.
- Extra long or thick hair not mentioned in consultation, the $15 thick long hair fee will be added to the remainder balance.
-Start time 5am and before starting at $100. 5am up to 7am starts at $50
-Adding clip in hair extensions and styling: $35 (extensions not provided, just placement and styling)
-If hair is wet and blow dry is needed $25
-Working with extensions $15
-Travel fee is .66 per mile
Special Requirements
-Hair must be clean and 100% dry (If hair is not dry there will be an extra fee of $25)
-Please do not straighten hair as it makes it difficult to hold a curl
-A robe/button down shirt works best to avoid pulling clothing over the head once the hairstyle is complete

I am very flexible with makeup trials and day of, starting as early as needed and accommodating large parties. I am confident in my makeup abilities and will prepare a timeline beforehand. I stick to my timeline on the day of and ask of my clients to please be on time to make sure each person has enough time and not rushing. If I can accommodate everyone I definitely will as well as any last minute add ons. I’ve been in the wedding industry many years with attention to detail to make sure everyone looks picture ready. I have a 5 person minimum for wedding day parties and to hold the day.
