Hi everyone, my name is Mary and I’m a professional free lance makeup artist. I’ve been obsessed with makeup since I was a young girl. It has always been my passion. I’ve been actively doing professional makeup for almost 10 years. My clients range from all ethnic backgrounds which gives me a lot of experience working with different people. I do makeup for all types of occasions such as weddings, birthdays, photo shoots and even for just a night out. The looks I create can range from natural to dramatic. I ask many questions to my clients to capture the look that they want me to create. My focus is always on making my clients happy and to make them feel good on their special day.

When I first started making up women, I instantly felt the power of it--how it makes one feel and gives one confidence. While I was working make-up artist prior, my training at KRYOLAN Academy has vastly advanced my knowledge in make-up artistry both in creative aspects of beauty and fashion as well as in my understanding of technical aspects of make-up from colors to details. Additionally, having the opportunity to travel the world as a free-lance makeup artist, has given me the opportunity to explore and broaden my creativity and enhance my understanding of the influence and diversity of different cultures. In addition to my work in fashion, I have extensive bridal makeup experience providing hair styles and makeup for brides in the United States and throughout Europe and Asia. This experience has given me a broad knowledge of what is culturally acceptable and relevant makeup styles and practices.

Nothing makes Samantha happier than making people look and feel beautiful. As a teen, she along with her sisters and friends would spend entire weekends art directing, styling and doing the hair and makeup for their own “photo shoots.” She would sift through the pages of Harpers Bazzar and Vouge staring at every detail. So when she decided to enroll in makeup school, the fit seemed pretty natural. Since then, Samantha has gained over 10 years of professional experience as a makeup artist and hair stylist. Her dedication to brining out the beauty in others shines through all of her work from film to television to print media, and has enhanced the glamor of such stars as Gigi Hadid, Nina Dobrev, Martha Hunt and Peyton List.
