I am a licensed esthetician in the State of Georgia & North Carolina. I attended The International School of Skincare, Nail Care & Massage Therapy. In Georgia we’re required to complete 1,000 hours (9 months) in coursework as well as successfully pass a written and practical exam for the State Board of Georgia. I also have years of hands on experience dealing with conditions of the skin and various skin ailments. When hiring an artist for makeup services it’s important to know that they’re licensed and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for the health of your skin and understanding; sanitation and dis-infectantion. We can’t assume the artist knows how to; properly prep your skin for makeup, properly clean, disinfect and sanitize their instruments after each client, and or know when to discard makeup pass it’s expiration date.
Please do your due diligence and research your artist before hiring, not just let anyone who responds to your request touch your beautiful face!
Hire a licensed professional.
