Licensed and Bonded Painter, General Contractor. Started my business in 2001. Have extensive background in siding windows, doors and painting, as well as interior flooring, trim and finishes. Decks, fencing, concrete, tree work, pavers also fall under our scope. Veteran owned local tree trimming, removal, stump grinding. We have manlift, bobcat, chippers, and all the right gear to safely remove almost any dangerous or problematic tree! Don't wait for another windstorm. We take pride in quick response time, attention to detail, and clean up. Blocking windows and gutters with plywood, proper rigging and lowering, and experience keep our jobsites accident free and safe I love trees and nature. Usually we charge $50-$65 per hour, most jobs are quoted.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our estimates are Free, we use invoice home for our quotes and billing invoices. I usually can give estimates on the spot unless there are supply products to research.... I am very knowledgeable about pricing and many times can give rough estimates over the phone.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Raised in construction and painting. Licensed and have trained in all fields, have an extensive history of remodeling for various developers, contractors, property managers, and businesses. We mostly have been working residential the last few years

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I grew up doing construction, working for my uncle's doing large developments in Moscow I'd, and working on projects like Mt.Bachelor village for keeton and king, where I created and poured forms for the condos. I worked in drywall and framing out of high school in Moscow and wound up siding all of west side and Torrey pines for Rick white, as well as the riverside condos. I started my own business and my uncle moved down from Chicago as a 30 year veteran union painter and joined forces..we worked in fox borrough, braeburn, and for sunridge bldg and design. I have worked for John Price, Kelly Rodgers, Jim Chauncey, kirpach, Steve Rzonka, Tracy Thompson, and many other builders. After 15 years I began marketing and working directly with customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Remodeled for Madeline Blum over an 8 month period. We installed custom brushed nickel handrails in her living area, new doors, trim and floors, new hardware, wine closet, paint, fireplace surround, regrouted fireplace, new fascia, trash enclosure, decks, benches, new trim around windows and new siding which we custom milled to match, new showers and surrounds, glass doors, plate glass art, appliances, etc

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check your contractors references and look at their ccb and insurance, make sure your deposits and pay schedule line up so work is done before payments.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have your design in place? Does it need permits or architect/engineering? What are your time and budget expectations?
