Introduction

When I founded Erin’s Edibles I based it upon a “there are no rules” philosophy. Meaning I’ll never tell you that your event has to be done a certain way, it’s exactly your way. anyway that you prefer! I’m looking forward to helping more people enjoy their valuable time spent with friends. minus the stress of preparing a perfect meal. Please give me the opportunity to help make your plans tasty as well as memorable!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
In order to best meet my customers needs, I find that pricing out each event is the most fair method for everyone. If need be, I can bring everything needed including China, flatware and even table clothes with matching napkins. Need a beautiful vase of flowers, no problem. Erin's Edibles is a full service business.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to meet my new clients as soon as possible. I believe that the more I know about my client and their specific needs the easier it will be for me to create a perfect experience for them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
While I have no formal culinary training I've spent quite a few years working both in restaurants and delicatesstins. I've been cooking almost all of my life and my family and friends are sure to show up when I'm cooking, at home or even on our boat! I've even had them drop in after simply driving by and "following their nose!"

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Through the years many people have told me that I could sell my food. I enjoy the challenges that working with different clients brings me. Its never "just the same old thing!"

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Single people, as well as families, who love the idea of a home cooked meal but do not enjoy, or have the time and and energy, to prepare a meal, or the families with children who are pulled in many directions each night and due to their busy schedules end up in the drive thru lane more often than they care to.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently a gentleman wanted to celebrate his wife's birthday, comfortably and to not have them both stress over how their two teenaged sons would behave in a restaurant for a lengthy meal. After a phone consultation he and I planned her perfect meal. lasagne, a crisp green salad, a dressing made with fresh herbs, and finishing the meal off with a decadent trifle. A few days before the celebration, he reached out to me and asked if I could also prepare chicken parmesan for his sons, they weren't fans of lasagne. So I added the additional entree to the menu. On the day of the party the whole family was able to relax, while we prepared the meal. After serving the meal, we were cleaning the dining room and kitchen, only to realize that there were no leftovers, they had definitely enjoyed the meal.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Be sure that your chef understands exactly what you are looking for. Are you satisfied with a cookie cutter meal, or would you like to create your own special menu?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I encourage my clients to think about the end result that they interested in. Are you interested in a casual gathering of friends with some of your favorite foods, or are you wanting to treat your guests to a more refined culinary experience?
