Hello, I'm Aaron! Although I'm new to Thumbtack, I've been in the culinary industry for 20 years. As a young chef just starting out, I earned Certification in Culinary Arts from the Southwest Area Career Center in MIssouri, as well as The Wilton Method Basic Cake Decorating Certification. I've worked in a variety of settings: From corporate chains to my own restaurant (which was a great success, but after a life-changing surgery I wanted to get back to Texas!!) and I am now focusing on creating special moments for your important events, opposed to a full-time gig that repeats daily. Most of my learning and development have come with inspiration, practice and experience. My focus is in true scratch cooking, using the highest quality ingredients available. So much of our food supply is full of chemicals and filler products instead of healthy foods. Taking the time and effort to make healthier foods for my clients is my passion. I love creating foods that are not only better for us, but that take flavor to a whole new level.
