I primarily work with women, pre- & postnatal people, couples, and seniors.
Hi! My name is Stephanie. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Health & Wellness Coach.
I offer online and in-person training. I utilize an app where I provide full workouts, behavior change coaching and habit work to my clients online. You can work with me in an online-only capacity, or in combination with in-person training sessions. I train most of my clients in-person out of a private gym in Millcreek, Utah. Although, sometimes I will see clients outside of the gym - either in their own home, outdoors, or in their apartment gym.
I am very focused on function and strength in my training for the general population, as well as pre/postnatal folks.
I also provide yoga instruction as a certified yoga teacher and trained pre- & postnatal yoga teacher.
I am certified in Functional Movement Systems, and have many tools and a functional awareness to assist people in gaining the mobility, deep core strength, and overall body awareness that so many people are lacking or missing altogether, putting them at greater risk of injury + leading to pain and discomfort in every day movements and activities.
I tailor all of my training to your specific goals, needs, as well as your current level of fitness. Your level of fitness while working with me will evolve and change, as will your training over time. And, because we are all at such different levels, I always have either an idea for another progression or regression as needed to safely gain the skills and strength needed as we progress.
I am committed to continuing education and keeping up with the science backing what I do, so you can rest assured I am providing you with the most up-to-date training principles. I do this by attending a conference each year for continuing education, regularly reading evidence-based articles in my field, working toward new certifications, amongst other things.
I LOVE what I do. I know on a very personal level how critical exercise and mobility work - along with proper form - is to live well and feel your best, and I want to share that with as many people as possible.
I may be able to provide discounted services to those in need - especially likely to be considered are BIPOC, LGBTQ+ folks, single parents, and teen parents.
