Hi, I’m Cody! Primarily known for my outdoor portraiture and lifestyle photography, I fell in love with chasing light and capturing moments in lesser seen ways. Creating art that conveys emotion and a story is the focus of my practice. I use my knowledge of natural light and composition to create images that truly capture the essence of the subject at hand I strive to push myself and my creative abilities with each project I take on; to give an end result that both you and I will be proud to share with the world If I’m not out doing client work, you’ll probably find me surfing my favorite waves around Southern California and O’ahu, cooking food at home, or exploring whatever wilderness I find myself in

Photography is so much more than taking a picture of someone or something. It’s about stilling a meaningful moment in time so you can reminisce on it in the future with loved ones or by yourself. It’s about how beautifully or dramatically, how seriously or playfully you want to be represented to the world if you’re a business. It’s about pleasant self expression and infinitely more. A photo, when properly taken... can be worth a million words rather than just a thousand. What you need is a photographer that understand that and is willing to put in the required time and effort to make that happen. And I am that photographer.
