Mattea LinAe is a luxury photographer specializing in timeless, high-end imagery. Her photos emphasize authenticity and emotional connection, often capturing raw, unposed moments that feel intimate and natural. Finding inspiration in the stories that people have to tell and focusing on capturing their essence in a way that feels both personal and timeless - her approach reflects a deeper connection to the human experience, which is central to her photography. Adopted from Korea, her experience with feeling like the ‘odd one out’ has taught her to always be in search of the people, places, and things that often go unnoticed. Her compositions often focus on the details—the subtle interactions between people, the textures of environments, and the play of light and shadow—all contributing to a story within each image. Mattea grew up in Colorado and pursued a degree in Entrepreneurship. After graduating high school she traveled across the world to find her birth mother in Korea. She has spent the last decade continuing to travel the world and documenting stories for hundreds of people, places, and brands and plans to do so for the rest of her life.
