I enjoy creating a photo journalistic look to my event photography. My goal is to have my work tell a story about the event that I am shooting. With a little experimentation, I can come up with fun and creative shots that make your special occassion that much more memorable.
For portrait sessions I work with the customer to initially have them be comfortable when being photographed, ultimately aiming to capture their natural personality. I like to use the natural beauty of the outdoors whenever possible but can create a studio environment easily at any location by bringing pro-lighting and a variety of backdrops. Depending on the type of portrait session I will sometime recommend props or special wardrobe.
I love working with people to have them be themselves, be at ease, and generally just to have fun. In post-production, I enjoy making people look their absolute best by encorporating digital techniques to create an artistic look to my work. What I have found is that this creates a network of customers who not only refer me to other people, but call me again and again.
*Please note that my pricing on Thumbtack is a general estimate and could change based on individual job requirements.

Storytelling Through Portraits | 10+ Years Capturing Real Emotion
Hi, I’m Tetiana (Tess)—a portrait photographer who specializes in capturing real life, not just staged smiles. For over 10 years, I’ve helped families, couples, and individuals keep their most meaningful moments alive through images that feel honest, warm, and timeless.
My approach is simple: I create a relaxed environment where you can just be yourself—no awkward poses, no fake grins. Whether it’s the beautiful chaos of a family session, a quiet engagement moment, or the spontaneous magic of a laugh you didn’t see coming, I’m there to catch the real stuff.
I work almost entirely with natural light and edit each photo in my signature soft-toned style. Every gallery is carefully curated to feel personal, heartfelt, and completely you.
Let’s create something meaningful—photos you’ll return to again and again, to keep those fleeting moments alive for years to come.
