The price includes a pre-session consultation, studio use or travel to location, lighting set-up, professional grade Canon equipment, file storage, posting images for client review, photo retouching (number of images depends on package purchased), mailing of images to client.

As long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos and the art of capturing a moment in time. My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Nature and art inspire me and I regularly explore the DMV area looking for non traditionally beautiful or off-the-beaten path spots that can be overlooked. I love meeting and connecting with people, and I always have fun with my sessions. It's an amazing gift to me that photography gives me the opportunity to create art. It's possibilities are endless and all around us in everyday life, even in little things. I incorporate light and landscape to help create memorable photos. I'm a Northern Virginia lifestyle family & newborn photographer with over 8 years of experience. My goal is for photo sessions to feel relaxed and laid-back like I'm just a family friend with a camera. I would describe my photographic style as true-to-life, vibrants and candid-focused. During your session, I provide direction and posing help to make sure I get a mix of traditional/posed shots and candid ones. The candids are always my favorite though :)
