What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most importantly, let's figure out how you would like the photos to look and feel! Professional, candid, abstract or intimate - we can settle on the right look and location to suit your needs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Like many photographers, we start with friends. As my skills grew I began to photograph new people - creating intimate, creative and professional portraits.

What types of customers have you worked with?

From the studio to your home, I work with clients to capture genuine images. This ranges from professional headshots to highly intimate images you'll be looking at for years.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently spent two weeks in the Baltic States, photographing the development of the Russian culture in the changing landscape. Primarily through portraits, I explored the inherited culture and identity of a people tied to the Russian culture, which many are trying to separate themselves from.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Know what you want! The obvious fit will come easily!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do my aesthetic preferences overlap with the photographers? Many photographers are versatile but it is important to know if they're the right person for you. Oftentimes personality is a large factor, being comfortable in a photographic setting is hugely important for great images.
