I am a GRAMMY® nominated cellist, educator and chamber musician based in San Francisco, CA. Passionate about education, I am an active teacher in the Bay Area and am currently have my own private studio. I have been teaching for the last ten years, and have experience in all sort of levels, from kid to elderly, beginners to advanced cellists. I adapt to each student, we set goals together and work towards them. To teach, I usually use a combination of the Suzuki method and french etudes/ exercises. If you have songs you would love to play, I am also happy to make cello arrangements for my students. Events : *First trial lesson discount* More about me : Chloe is currently a section cellist for the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, and a founding member of Duo Érable, a cello and guitar duo. Duo Érable has a mission of expanding the limits of traditional classical repertoire and reaching communities large and small in the Bay Area. Born in France, her musical career started at the Lyon conservatory with Augustin Lefebvre. Chloé holds a B.M. and an M.M. from the McGill Schulich School of Music in Montreal where she graduated with an “Outstanding Achievement in Cello” under the mentorship of Matt Haimovitz and Brian Manker. During her time at McGill, she was a finalist in the McGill Concerto Competition, principal cellist of the McGill Symphony Orchestra and the recipient of the Mcgill Lloyd Carr-Harris scholarship. Chloé is also the recipient of grants and awards from l’Association Française du Violoncelle, Lions Club International, the Concours du Royaume and a beneficiary of a cello loaned by the organization Talents & Violoncelles and made by luthier Patrick Robin. As a collaborative musician, Chloé had the opportunity to perform with, and be mentored by renowned musicians such as Ralph Kirshbaum, Tessa Lark, Ronald Leonard and Philippe Muller. Chloé is currently pursuing an Artist Certificate in Chamber Music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as one of the three Osher Foundation Scholars. Chloe plays on a Frank Ravatin, generously lent by Roger Dubois of CANIMEX Inc.

Hello! Thanks for your interest in taking drum lessons. Warren has 30+ years playing drums in and 20 years teaching experience under his proverbial belt. Although his focus has been the drum set the past 25 years, his foundation was in orchestral percussion and the rudiment heavy discipline of marching band. After moving to San Francisco in the fall of 1998, he quickly became part of a vibrant and diverse music community and honed his live chops gigging, touring and recording with artists such as Citay, Crime In Choir, Tussle, Kelley Stoltz, Daevid Allen, Carletta Sue Kay and 3 Leafs to name a few. Since 2002 he has taught drum lessons privately, and for institutions such as The Paul Green School of Rock, Vibo Music, Alma Music Academy, Live Oak elementary school, Children's Day elementary school and The San Francisco Project. As a teacher, Warren tries to cater to the individual needs of each student while focusing and good technique and the fun, expressive qualities of the drums. Hi, my name is Ann Souren. I specialize in contemporary singing styles. I address the individual needs of students and tailor my lessons to meet their needs. The lessons are dynamic, fun, and extremely time-efficient. I aim for results, and I guarantee results. Most of my students feel the difference even after the first session. It usually takes me just 2-3 months to turn a complete beginner into a singer. I strongly believe that with the right teacher anyone who can speak and has an ear for music can become a singer. I have 20 years of experience as a vocal coach and more than 35 years experience as a professional singer/recording artist, singing on stages of different caliber, as well as in the studio. I know what it takes to become an outstanding performer. I have performed with various live bands, orchestras, big bands and shared the stage with Grammy award winners Yolanda Adams, Diane Schuur, Patti Austin, Richard Marx, Leo Sayer and many more. Lukasz Yoder is widely regarded as one of the top piano teachers in the Los Angeles area. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance, awarded on full scholarship from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where he studied under renowned pianist and Chair of the Piano Department, Professor Inna Faliks. Other major influences include the legendary American pianist Garrick Ohlsson and his mother, acclaimed pedagogue Roza Yoder, who was instrumental in shaping his early musical foundation. Born into a musical family, Lukasz began playing the piano at age four. He has since performed in concerts around the world and is a prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions and awards. As a teacher, Lukasz takes an individualized and intuitive approach, tailoring each lesson to meet the unique goals, backgrounds, and learning styles of his students — ranging in age from 4 to 85. His ultimate aim is to cultivate a lifelong love and appreciation for music in every student. He offers private lessons both in-home and at his hillside studio, where students have access to a wide variety of instruments, including three grand pianos — two of them Steinways, one of which is a 9-foot concert grand.
