Hi! My name is Mariya and I’m an opera singer and educator based in San Francisco. I have years of experience teaching voice lessons, French language lessons, and French and Russian diction lessons, and I would love to help you reach your goals! I teach primarily online as well as in person in San Francisco.

Lukasz Yoder is widely regarded as one of the top piano teachers in the Los Angeles area. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance, awarded on full scholarship from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where he studied under renowned pianist and Chair of the Piano Department, Professor Inna Faliks. Other major influences include the legendary American pianist Garrick Ohlsson and his mother, acclaimed pedagogue Roza Yoder, who was instrumental in shaping his early musical foundation. Born into a musical family, Lukasz began playing the piano at age four. He has since performed in concerts around the world and is a prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions and awards. As a teacher, Lukasz takes an individualized and intuitive approach, tailoring each lesson to meet the unique goals, backgrounds, and learning styles of his students — ranging in age from 4 to 85. His ultimate aim is to cultivate a lifelong love and appreciation for music in every student. He offers private lessons both in-home and at his hillside studio, where students have access to a wide variety of instruments, including three grand pianos — two of them Steinways, one of which is a 9-foot concert grand.

My rates are: $60/30min $80/45min $100/60min Payment of 5 lessons is due at the end of the 5th lesson. $25 discount is available for 10-upfront payments. The Clifford Lamb approach is innovative and effective. Beginners learn to function and understand music from the standpoint of accuracy and dynamics as they develop an understanding of classical, jazz and pop from an harmonic and melodic perspective. Students gradually learn to read, play and improvise their favorite Jazz, Pop and Blues tunes and/or learn classical music with a harmonic perspective as their theoretical knowledge deepens. Classes range from very beginner to Bachelor Degree level instruction in Classical, Jazz and Pop Piano performance, Composition and Arranging. For the first lesson, the student will receive a comprehensive evaluation of their musicianship, followed by an extensive recommended lesson plan. Clifford Lamb is an internationally renowned Pianist with extensive record discography as a Jazz Composer-Pianist and recording artist. His supporting cast features some of greatest players in jazz history, including Buster Williams, Cindy Santana Blackman, Nicholas Payton, and Grammy award winning Producer Jeffrey Weber.
