Guitar Lessons and Recording - Electric Giraffe...

Private lessons will advance you further and faster than anything else you can do - regardless of your current skill level. Imagine hearing a song for the first time and instantly playing along with it. Imagine understanding songs, not just memorizing a series of notes and chords. Imagine creating your own songs, improvising, and soloing with ease. That is what it means to really play the guitar - a goal that is much easier to reach than you think, but sadly few guitarists receive the proper instruction to achieve it.
My mission is to help you master the guitar as a true musician. You won’t just learn how to play a song or solo over a progression. You will learn what makes the song work, how to manipulate it, add to it, change it, and mold it into anything you desire.
I teach students that range from absolute beginners to advanced guitarists and provide each of them with the same attention and dedication - assessing the areas that need work and patiently guiding them through the process to reach their goals. But don’t just take my word for it - read what my students are saying in their reviews. Then contact me and let's get started helping you reach your musical goals.

Lukasz Yoder is widely regarded as one of the top piano teachers in the Los Angeles area. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance, awarded on full scholarship from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, where he studied under renowned pianist and Chair of the Piano Department, Professor Inna Faliks.
Other major influences include the legendary American pianist Garrick Ohlsson and his mother, acclaimed pedagogue Roza Yoder, who was instrumental in shaping his early musical foundation.
Born into a musical family, Lukasz began playing the piano at age four. He has since performed in concerts around the world and is a prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions and awards.
As a teacher, Lukasz takes an individualized and intuitive approach, tailoring each lesson to meet the unique goals, backgrounds, and learning styles of his students — ranging in age from 4 to 85. His ultimate aim is to cultivate a lifelong love and appreciation for music in every student.
He offers private lessons both in-home and at his hillside studio, where students have access to a wide variety of instruments, including three grand pianos — two of them Steinways, one of which is a 9-foot concert grand.
