We empower emerging artists, present classical music in creative and engaging ways, and connect people through meaningful performance and education. We offer lessons, concerts, collaborations, and outreach. We like to bend boundaries and think big, always rooted in excellence, integrity, and kindness.

Sing with more freedom and joy! I am a Juilliard-trained singer with 22 years' teaching experience. I've had an international stage career, including the Metropolitan Opera. I offer technical, foundational, and rehabilitational singing instruction, plus career, dramatic, and language coaching. I work both live and virtually. My primary focus is creating a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere for ANYONE to increase their joy and health through singing! NATS, AGMA member.

Samantha is available to teach flute to all ages online and in person at her home studio in Columbus, Ohio. Samantha is a 2018 graduate of Troy University with a bachelor's degree in music education. Samantha has also completed graduate coursework in education at Adams State University. Since beginning as a flute teacher in 2012, Samantha has had students win positions in all-state bands, win auditions, and receive high marks at solo and ensemble festivals. Currently, Samantha teaches a thriving private flute studio, is a middle school music teacher in Columbus City Schools, and freelances as a flutist in the Columbus area. Samantha holds a PK-12 music certification in Alabama, Ohio, and Virginia. Samantha is also holds a certificate by the National Virtual Teacher's Association. Samantha will be returning to school at Ohio State University for a master's in flute performance in the fall.

Results -- In many cases, I've succeeded where others (including many other "name" instructors) have failed. "Teachers teach the way they've been taught," and my own academic background (Berklee, Duquesne University, Cincinnati College-Conservatory) has been both intensive and highly structured. I also believe that my training in music theory has given me an analytic edge in my teaching -- I'm very skilled in pinpointing physical/musical problems and plotting a structured path that works for the needs of the individual student. To this, I designed, implemented, and taught the program in Guitar performance at West Virginia University at both undergraduate and graduate levels (1994 through 2018). I'm currently a professor of Guitar at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania.
