My journey in music started during my middle school years when I joined the band, and it continued throughout high school and college, and into my professional career. Along the way, I've had the privilege of learning from exceptional teachers, including some of the most accomplished musicians in Los Angeles. These experienced mentors exposed me to a diverse range of percussion instruments and styles, providing me with a well-rounded musical education. Their instruction and guidance expanded my horizons and deepened my understanding of different musical genres. Drawing from my professional experiences and the extensive training received from these esteemed instructors, I have become a reliable reference for various aspects of music. Whether it's exploring different percussion instruments, delving into specific musical styles, or seeking guidance on musical theory and technique, I can offer valuable insights and expertise. I consider myself fortunate to have had such enriching musical opportunities, and I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for music with my students. I offer private lessons to all ages and create lesson plans for each student to ensure personal and academic goals are met, and even surpassed, all while striving to make learning music fun and enjoyable.

Hello, my name is Paul and I am graduate music major with more than 6 years of experience in performing, producing and teaching in numerous arts schools across LA and Orange county. I'm offering private lessons and currently I have my own studio with more than 25 students. My main instruments is guitar and piano but I am also proficient at voice, bass, harmonica, and I can teach you music theory and ear training. I will teach rock and roll, blues, pop, jazz, classical, etc. My goal is to help you understand and enjoy music in a easy and exciting way!
