About Matt Shill Music
Hi, I’m Matt — a professional musician and instructor with over 15 years of experience helping students and artists of all ages reach their musical goals.
I hold a dual degree in Piano & Guitar Performance from the Frost School of Music and began my training at the Eastman School of Music. I’ve taught students from ages 4 to 94, and many have gone on to study at elite programs like Juilliard, Berklee, Manhattan School of Music, and Full Sail University.
As a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals), I offer:
- Private Online Music Lessons
- Instruments: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals
- Recording & Mixing for student project or student auditions
For lessons, I use My Music Staff to provide:
- Organized lesson notes and history
- Easy online lesson joining with one click
- Automatic reminders
- Seamless scheduling and communication
I’m well-versed in the ABRSM certification pathway, and can guide students through formal testing, competitions, and high-stakes audition prep — including recording pre-screens and building repertoire portfolios for top conservatories.
My own debut album has reached over 1 million streams, and I’ve worked on everything from intimate recordings to full-scale orchestral productions. My goal is always to meet you where you are — and help you grow into the musician you’re meant to be.

Hello! My name is Kevin, and I am looking forward to teaching you everything I know about music! I've been singing at Walt Disney World for over 22 years with the Voices of Liberty, the Dapper Dans of Main Street, and Four For A Dollar. I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Penn State University.
Even more than singing, playing the guitar, arranging for a cappella, and playing piano, I love to teach! Ever since I was a sophomore in high school, I've wanted to be a teacher of music in various capacities. My favorite aspect of teaching several private students each week is that every individual student has a different story. What is it that you want to accomplish? Would you like to sing, play piano or play guitar? Would you like training in music theory? Do you want to eventually have a career in music? Will this be a hobby for you? Whatever your goals are, I am excited to know your story.
