Kyle Pearl is a professional cellist and composer who has actively taught cello lessons for the past eight years professionally, and studied cello performance and music theory and the Frost School of Music. He greatly enjoys teaching, and generally work best with late middle and high school students. He is extremely experienced in audition, competition, and performance preparation. In the past, he has had students get into highly acclaimed youth orchestras (including Midwest Young Artists Conservatory), compete in chamber music competitions (including Rembrandt Chamber Musicians Annual High School Chamber Music Competition), and win concerto competitions (including the Racine Symphony Young Artists' Competition. Recently, he has been reviewed by the South Florida Classical Review for his performance with Ensemble Ibis, the review stating, "Pearl’s performance was expert—he didn’t just manage the technique but played the music through one long line of gripping and beautiful expression."

Bachelor Degree in Piano from University of Arts, Belgrade; Master of Music, Piano from University of Arts, Belgrade; Piano Performance Diploma from Longy Conservatory, Cambridge, Massachussets. Apart from performing, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 25 years, both privately and serving in schools where I worked with begging and advanced students, who participated in competitions and won prizes at national and international contests. Residing in Miami from June 2015, apart from teaching privately, I served as a piano teacher in Miami Fine Arts Academy, Allegro Music Center and Guitar Center. I am flexible with my teaching methods and am willing to adjust to the student needs. Not depending on the level, I am trying to incorporate musical styles of all eras, and include popular music in our studies where requested, to help students gain more understanding of the different characteristics and the wealth of the music language. This provides us with more rounded musical education, ability to appreciate and understand musical language better, as well as provide the skills to enjoy it.
