Hello Yonas, Thanks for contacting Thumbtack for piano lessons My name is Richard Chambers and I have been teaching piano for over forty years to over 3000 students. I studied piano from eleven piano teachers from five of the most prestigious conservatories in the world including Juilliard School of Music and the Paris Conservatory of Music and five of these teachers are on the internet. I hold two degrees in piano performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and teach on all levels of piano technique from beginners to advanced and I also am a former piano teacher at the Anne Arundel Community College. Five of my former students are now piano teachers and two are music professors in colleges. I taught hundreds of adult students with excellent results. My students are playing on a performance level in six months that most piano teachers students take over a year or more. You will be surprised of how fast you will be able to read and /or play your pieces from memory. I specialize in teaching classical piano compositions, the music needed to develop good finger technique. As a composer I often take a students idea, called a motif, and compose a piano solo composition for them to learn. Students love to play pieces of their making. Lessons needn't be on a regular weekly schedule, when students feel they need a lesson they call me one day in advance but you will need to have access to a piano or keyboard to practice on before lessons begin. My studio is on Parke West Dr. off of Quarterfield Rd. or 174, at 97 in Glen Burnie, Md. 21061. My fee is $30.00 for 30 to 45 minutes and more time if needed at no additional charge. I have openings in my studio on all seven days of the week after 4:00 p.m. Contact me at through Thumbtack. I am also performing on youtube. To hear my recital type Richard Chambers piano recital, when it comes up scroll down and click on my name. When it comes up click on search then on my picture. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Richard Chambers
