Melody Men Studio is a very unique, comfortable, female owned business for you to record or rehearse your music. I opened it, as a musician myself, needing a better place to record and I wanted to share it :) Just thinking about all the tunes that have and will come out of this building makes me smile. It located on the West side of Charlotte near the airport The building is private and has a lot of charm. There’s tons of equipment available with every rental and we have engineers, producers, and session musicians available. We also offer private singing lessons with me, the owner, as your vocal coach. Hello! I am an opera singer/teacher located in Charlotte, NC. In my studio, my ultimate goal is to help my students build a solid vocal technique that liberates their authentic voice so that they can sing healthily and sustainably across all genres. Though I truly believe that the study of the voice is a lifelong process, most of my students begin seeing results in as little as a few weeks! As an opera singer myself, vocal technique is something I am extremely passionate about, and each lesson is tailor-made to suit the individual needs of my students. By aligning the body through the practices found in yoga and strengthening the organic production of the vocal mechanism, you will find yourself achieving heights you never dreamed of. My students currently range from beginners to young professionals looking to launch their solo music career. Together we will discover how to release bad habits and negative tensions in your voice. Whether you like to sing classical, musical theatre, rock or pop music, in my studio, you will be given the tools to do it all. ATTENTION: - I'M OFFERING A SPECIAL: IN PERSON OR ONLINE, 4 1/2 HOUR LESSONS FOR 1/2 PRICE $20 EACH. WHAT WOULD NORMALLY BE $180 IS NOW $80. In person lessons must be fully vaccinated. My regular rate is $45 1/2-hour, $80 hour. There's never a contract. People want to study singing for so many reasons. You've sung all your life and want to sing better. You'd like to be able to audition for a better chorus or a part. You were told you were tone-deaf when you were 5, and haven't dared make a sound since, or if you have, people have laughed at you. Those are all good reasons. My job is to take you wherever you are, whatever you hope to achieve, and help you sing better whatever that is. The lessons themselves can be done online, or in person within New Jersey only. New Yorkers usually don't want to come to NJ, but you could take lessons online. If you're apprehensive doing lessons online, please read my reviews. Quite a few of them are from online students. There's never a contract. You can try one lesson and see what you think. Your health is the most important thing to address in lessons. People come to me with chronic sore throats from strain, limited ranges, breaks. We fix these things, and you sound great and have fun. I don't let 12-year-olds sound like they're 30. I care, and I'm good. The human voice is the most wonderful toy I can imagine. As a teacher, I get to play in everyone's toy box. It's all fun. I love helping someone who thinks they can't sing on pitch sing on pitch. I love working with people who've sung all their lives and just hope people won't laugh at them. I show members of the chorus that they're soloists, and no one's laughing. I love working with beautiful, strong, healthy voices that just need a little help to fly. I love it all.

I have a passion for singing and performing, and I absolutely love sharing that enthusiasm with people of all ages! I get excited to pick out specific repertoire perfect for individual students and to work with them in depth in order to beautifully sing that piece of music. Passionate about expression, diction, and technique I aim to inspire others to reach their highest potential and musical goals. Getting to watch my students progress over time and seeing all of their wonderful accomplishments is the best part about being a teacher for me!
