I specialize in helping singers find and hone their unique voice. I am not about gimmicks, tricks, or false promises. I guide you into singing with minimal strain, developing vocal power, expanding range, and drastically improving your tone. I think of the voice like the body; the more precisely you exercise (vocalize), the stronger (more powerful), more flexible (more range) and more fit (better tone) you get. One of the best perks is that once you get vocally fit, you become confident and not self-conscious about your singing. Just like when you are physically fit, you feel much better about the way you look. When you are vocally fit, you feel much better about the way you sound. I specialize in pop, rock, R&B, gospel, jazz, musical theater, country, metal, and all singing styles that use a microphone. My name is Ona, and I’m a musical theater performer and voice teacher. I’d love to help you get started on your singing and/or acting career! I'm multilingual so we can do classes in English, Spanish, or Catalan! I usually teach in a studio in Midtown Manhattan but due to COVID-19 I’m offering online lessons only.
