I teach (in person or online) out of my studio in beautiful Sebastian , Florida. I have been teaching music since 1989 and have played in orchestras since 4th grade and currently play the cello in church...my whole family is musical! My parents are both professional musicians, so I grew up around music! My goal is to share my love of music with students of all ages by making lessons fun!! I teach using traditional methods, tailored to the student's specific interests. I am a former preschool teacher and minored in music. I am very patient and enjoy the challenge each new student brings and love teaching children and adults alike. I am a signed artist with Boosted Entertainment, and I am a Producer for the group Musicality, semi-finalists on AGT season 11. Not only do I assist in creating and directing music videos and original music for the group, but I also get to perform at incredible events and venues with them: UNICEF Won't Stop (with Jordin Sparks), Lollapalooza, KultureBall 2019 with Marc Martel, the Rosemont Theatre, TEDx with Ari Afsar and Miguel Cervantes (Chi-Hamilton Stars), and McDonald’s WWC (opening for Imagine Dragons, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Bruno Mars). I have been in numerous music videos with the group and have led recording sessions. A few videos I have worked on ("This Is Me" and "From Now On") have even gained several million views! I have had the honor to star in the film "First String" as Rebecca Carlisle, and I am reprising my role in the sequel. I have had so many wondrous opportunities to share my craft with others, and I am enthusiastic about sharing even more through teaching and performing. Melody Men Studio is a very unique, comfortable, female owned business for you to record or rehearse your music. I opened it, as a musician myself, needing a better place to record and I wanted to share it :) Just thinking about all the tunes that have and will come out of this building makes me smile. It located on the West side of Charlotte near the airport The building is private and has a lot of charm. There’s tons of equipment available with every rental and we have engineers, producers, and session musicians available. We also offer private singing lessons with me, the owner, as your vocal coach. Please note! I do NOT offer lessons shorter than an hour. Half-hour and 45-minute lessons ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I also don't generally accept children under ten years old unless they're unusually mature for their age and exceptionally talented.
