I specialize in private yoga and private meditations sessions with individual and corporate clients of all ages and experience levels. I have been practicing and teaching meditation, mindfulness, and yoga for over fifteen years.
I'm passionate about creating a safe space where people can connect to the quiet of their inner wisdom. These practices guide my own life: mindfulness keeps her present, meditation returns her to quiet and stillness, and yoga provides a flexible way to be in her life and our world. Sharing these tools with others brings me great joy!
My professional yoga and meditation journey began in 2005 when I earned a 200-hour certification at the White Lotus Foundation in California. Since then, I have expanded my expertise with an advanced 500-hour yoga certification and The Calm Monkey Mindfulness Facilitator Certification Program and The Sedona Women’s Institute Facilitator Training Program. Most recently, I completed Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach's Two Year Certified Mindfulness Meditation Program, MMTCP. I have also been trained in trauma sensitive yoga and mindfulness. In addition to my yoga and meditation training, I hold an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
My corporate clients include JPMorgan Chase, Duly Health and Care, Lakeshore Lacrosse Group and Flexco Manufacture.
In addition to working with private clients, I volunteer with O.W.L.S. an outreach program for inner city children, teaching yoga and meditation, and Wellness House in Hinsdale, teaching mindfulness meditation to cancer patients.
I also host group meditation courses, meditation and mindful movement retreats and international yoga retreats.
You can find my yoga classes and meditations on my YouTube channel or the Insight Timer app by searching my name.
Lisa lives in the Chicago area with her husband and is a proud mother of three amazing adult children.
