I believe in individualized yoga sequences, not just for levels of difficulty, but for body types. This is a controversial topic, and it is not intended to shame or put anyone down. It's believed that each person has a unique constitution, and generally fall under one of three main dosha types — vata, kapha, and pitta — based on their body type, personality, and sensitivities. The needs and means of achieving them are different for each type, therefore, each would have different modifications of asanas, and different flow sequences. I have seen and felt first hand, the restorative effects of yoga, prayanama, and other practices of getting to know the body better. My specialties are tai-chi inclusive, spinal mobilization, teaching about how to be aware of facilitated pathways of energy, rehabilitating posture to alleviate specific chronic pains or aches, and strengthening and uses elements of tai chi, belly dance, breath work, vinyasa flow.
