Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have over 25 years experience in construction, project management and planning. My experience is across the board in everything from working 7 years for a concrete company, over a dozen homes remodeled, new homes built, designing and managing kitchen and bath remodels for a local reputable company and everything in between. It is extremely important to have a GC who has hands on experience with new construction and remodeling and knows how to do the tasks that subs or employees are completing so that it’s done correctly, to code and will prevent future problems.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First thing is the meet and go over the scope of work to see if we can meet the budget needs. My company can handle a bit of everything and I hope to give customers confidence in our skill set to hire us for the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
2 year degree in Business Management. Many years working in almost all construction trades.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started working at the age of 4 (seriously) with my grandfather who was a home builder. As I got older, I had a knack for attention to detail and hard work. I remodeled my first home on my own at the age of 22, a commercial building at the age of 25 and many other small to medium sized projects from then on.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All walks of life and needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
4,000 SF home remodel in Sherwood. Increased value of home by $500k with complete remodel, addition of ADU, and bath/kitchen renovation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Select someone with attention to detail and experience. There are a lot of hacks out there.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is this person professional? Does this person have the experience? Can I communicate with them? Is the person efficient?
