Introduction

I am a very experienced and well trained industry professional that and perfectionist, detail oriented and able to make sophisticated systems easy to work with for everyone When we do wall mounts we try our utmost to minimize the number and size of holes needed, if any, and rarely ever leave a job that needs patching or painting. I like the feeling of satisfaction when a job is completed and done right, an acoustically superb home theater or a simple TV hanging over a fireplace. Please allow for an adequate time to respond, if I am working on a jobsite I will not be able to respond right away. I service, calibrate, fix and rewire malfunctioning and poorly performing Home Theater systems, but I DO NOT do physical repairs of individual defective or broken components, such as amplifiers, speakers, GAME CONSOLES, disc players, TV's, broken HDMI ports etc. PLEASE CONTACT ELECTRONICS REPAIR SHOPS for those situations, as Thumbtack’s service category descriptions don’t differentiate repair service from system maintenances and corrections I do. I get many requests to fix broken ports on game consoles, but sorry that is something for a repair shop

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have varied pricing systems depending on project size and scope. One size does NOT fit all

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I work with home owners, contractors, architects. My first priority is finding out what there known and unknown needs are and budget expectations. I try to figure out who will use the equipment and how. It's an interview, basically.

unfold fold
I have been trained/certified by many manufacturers and thru CEDIA courses as well Manufacturers training included MacIntosh, Marantz, Denon, Sony and Sony ES, Control4, JVC, Panasonic, Draper, Pioneer, Monitor Audio, Bose, Screen Innovations, Integra and Onkyo, URC, RTi, B&W, Dahlquist, Kef, JBL, Harmon Kardon, Klipsch, Sonos, Stewart Film Scren, Heos, Russound, Niles and many others during 30 years working with Audio Video systems. Completed specialized courses in Home Theater and Audio Studio construction and Design, Acoustics and Surround Technologies. unfold fold
Since my high school days...

unfold fold
All types. Celebrities and everyday people.

unfold fold
I am fond of ALL my projects!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
You get what you pay for. My pricing is competitive for my level of services and competencies. I have gone in and fixed too many messes made by inexperienced and ill trained low ball low bidding installers and even over priced ones...
