Introduction

We’re not the biggest or smallest but a custom solution for your everyday needs. Empowered by our skills to support our clientele now and for the future. Locating a tech professional is difficult. Our success didn’t happen overnight. It started with a small operation and customers taking a chance. In the end, it paid off with customer satisfaction of our services and custom solutions for our clients needs. Each customer experience is different. Your wants vs. your needs. A small and effective blueprint for your IT infrastructure. Budget friendly and reliability is the standard. Learning more of the customers’ needs before they speak is the goal. Our journey starts with you. In 2020, we received calls for support due to covid. From small IT assistance to rebuilding IT infrastructure via Cloud Support Systems to Wifi connectivity issues. The calls came and business grew. We answered and now we’re Moonlight Solutions.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is very reasonable compared to market rates. Any additional work outside of the project will be discussed prior to any work being performed to ensure we're on the same page.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
For new customers, usually we do a consultation or a phone call so we can get all of the requirements for the project. We then provide a quote on the spot or via email depending on scope.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have 15 years of IT support along with AV experience. Experience includes government, private sector, and broadcasting.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started this work back in 2006 working for a large big box electronics retailer. I went from working in the store, to working in the field where I gained the bulk of my exposure to this work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with a lot of small businesses in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and construction space. Our residential clients usually hire us for networking issues with WFH (work from home), or mounting televisions around their home.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We had a recent project with a family where both adults were working from home, and the kids were virtual learning. We were able to wire up their home with CAT6 from their basement to the top floor in their office. The wife and husband immediately stopped having dropped calls on zoom and the kids no longer had long "buffering" times on their laptops.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get photos of their prior work. I get a lot of calls where people have hired individuals and they call me to "fix" what they did.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I recommend thinking long term and not short term. So questions would include "how would this look 5 years from now" or "do I plan to do anymore improvements or upgrades in this area".
