What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I provide my services to all areas within 30 miles of and in Newport, TN. for most Low-Volt & WiFi installs I charge $60 an hour. General Handyman services $50 an hour. Certain wiring jobs like extensive internet, electrical or non-wifi CCTV security installations can go as high as $90 an hour. I also may quote for a job as piece work or one overall encompassing price and will break down price per specific task. A guarantee of my workmanship is a 1 year full satisfaction guaranteed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will consult with client about project either by Phone, Text, Skype or In person if needed to make sure I understand the full scope of job requested. give my availability and let them know they can count on my reliability and professionalism to complete job request

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 15 years in the Low volt Audio/Video industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began with installing DirecTV in 2002 through 2007 then began to install custom home theaters and distributed audio, then was trained on line of sight internet for homes and small business. I also have contracted for Comcast, CenturyLink, Dishnet and Hughesnet

What types of customers have you worked with?

Clients from all walks of life. mostly residential homes some small businesses From multi million-dollar homes to small cottages, mobile homes and even a few RVs. Rural and urban areas included. Doing Low-voltage work mostly but have also done home electrical work, appliance installs and furniture assembly.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently installed in a home 4 fully wired outside cameras to a DVR connected to internet with monitor. No Wi-Fi with this unit so a lot of labor involved including troubleshooting one problem camera that took an extra hour to finally have it come online. All systems tested and a little education to client including a phone app. For this CCTV system install total hours worked was 8

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find out what kind of experience the technician or handyman has and if he charges by the hour or piece work or otherwise and time availability for how soon your project can be completed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Is customer going to supply any products or hardware. what is the final objective, outcome and expectations of job needed to be completed.
